Action Dragger is an interactivity conceived toward viewer’s recreation. With Action Dragger, it is possible to turn a detail in a video that could remain unnoticed into a memorable moment that can be observed time and again at different speeds and in which, most of all, the viewer feels like having the upper hand.
Essentially, the Action Dragger interactivity makes a brief sequence video of a few seconds into a frame sequence that the viewer can reproduce back and forth and at the desired speed, even frame by frame. The applications of this interactivity may differ according to the purpose they follow. Action Dragger is mainly useful, for instance, to convey to the user the sensation that their finger is controlling the object in movement. It also confers the control of reproduction of an action, so that the details might be observed more accurately.
There are two types of Action Dragger according to the type of sequence to be used: Auto sequence or Manual sequence. The Auto type doesn't need a sequence of images to be imported, simply by placing the Action Dragger over the desired area of the video the sequence will be automatically generated. Note that this type of dragger always pauses the video.
The Manual type requires a sequence of images compressed in a ZIP file. You must generate that sequence manually outside PlayFilm and then import it to your Library. On the other hand, Manual Draggers can be configured so that the video is not paused and external images appear over the video ─using PNG images with transparent background. If the sequence doesn't imply use of transparencies, your sequence must be of JPG images in order to obtain the best loading and quality of your project.
