The only action a linear video editing software allows when the cursor reaches the end of a video clip is to continue the reproduction of the next clip, in such a way that its reproduction is never stopped if not by express action from the user, who presses the pause button.
On PlayFilm, the next clip is not necessarily the one occupying the immediately later place. You can configure the end of a video so that it jumps to another video located at any moment of the timeline, being it previous or later. This is possible through the Link to video action on the Events submenu of the video Properties panel.
If you want the action to be the classical one of reproducing next clip, select the Next video option.
