To produce a Multivideo with PlayFilm’s App Multivideo Generator is the quickest and easier option. First, you have to import the files that will form your Multivideo into your Media Library, from the Import button in the top right corner. The import modal will open, then drag and drop or choose the videos that will be part of your Multivideo.
The videos you have just imported will appear in the Library tab, they will be grey, turned off. In the moment they turn on you can start to create the Multivideo. Click on the App tab ─next to Library tab─ and choose Multivideo Generator. A modal will appear in which you have to indicate the number of videos that will form the Multivideo ─from 2 up to 9. Now, select the videos.
Be aware that if each video has a different audio, the Multivideo will be generated with the audio of the Video 1 only. Therefore if you are interested to keep one particular audio, make sure to select it as Video 1. And remember, if your videos have different duration they will be cut as the length of the shortest one. Your Multivideo will appear in the Videos tab in Library with the name “multi_nameofyourVideo 1”, it will be turned off and working. You can see the steps of the transcodification process through the icon 0/4 until 4/4.
If you notice that it takes too much to move forward from 0/4 to 1/ 4, refresh the page. When the transcodification is finished, your Multivideo will be available to drag and drop to the Timeline so you can start configuring it. We recommend to create multivideos with the Multivideo Generator App only if you are in a hurry or it is a demo project. Because if you do it through an external video editing software it will take more time, but you will have more control over the final result.
