We've introduced some new features in PlayFilm with a view to improve the workflow and make the process of creating an Interactive Video even quicker. Now, you will upload your videos in the first place, without even accessing the editor.
Let's get into the details:
From now on, when you create a new project you'll see there is a new Project view with several tabs for the Resources, the Editor, the Appearance and the Settings.
- Videos tab: upload the video clips for your project.
- Medias tab: upload the media resources you are going to use.
- Maker: access the editor to setup your project.
- Appearance tab: customize the player bar, the cover and the loading screen.
- Settings tab: setup all the settings, including the analytics.
- Embed & Share
Regarding the Timeline, the video layer is now thinner, allowing more space for the interactive layers. You can rearrange the video clips by dragging and dropping them or using the arrows in the video layer.
The Timeline allows now Auto snapping of elements, Group editing and features the new Advanced blue marker.
Your projects will now go through a Pre-publish mode during which you'll be able to privately test it and even password protect it to share the Pre-publish link with anyone.
Every new project you create from now on will include these new features. To start enjoying them for your existing projects you need to update them first. And don't worry, the update process won't affect the published versions of your projects.
We hope you enjoy all these new features.
